Refund policy


ABOV – Returns, Refunds & Warranty Policy

 

1. Business Identification

This policy applies to all purchases made from ABOV, a trading name of ABOV Enterprises (“we”, “us”, “our”).

We sell internationally and comply with applicable consumer protection laws. Where mandatory laws provide additional rights, those rights will apply and cannot be excluded.

 

2. Change of Mind Policy

We do not offer returns, refunds, or exchanges for:

  • Change of mind
  • Personal preference (e.g. “I don’t like it”)
  • Incorrect selection or use by the customer

All sales are final unless required by applicable law.

 


3. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

You may be entitled to a remedy if the product:

  • Arrives damaged or defective
  • Is materially different from its description
  • Is not fit for its intended purpose

 

3.1 Resolution Hierarchy

Where a valid issue is confirmed, ABOV will, at its sole discretion:

  1. Repair the product (if applicable), or
  2. Replace the product, or
  3. Refund the purchase (only if repair/replacement is not possible or required by law)

Refunds are not the default outcome.


 

4. Non-Defective Conditions 

The following are not considered faults and will not qualify for a return:

  • Minor cosmetic differences (colour, texture, finish)
  • Variations due to lighting, photography, or screen display
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage caused by misuse, improper handling, or failure to follow instructions
  • Performance expectations not explicitly advertised


 

5. Mandatory Claim Requirement.

To be eligible for any claim, customers must:

  • Contact us within 7 days of delivery
  • Provide:
    • Order number
    • Clear photo/video evidence of the issue
    • Description of the defect

Failure to meet these requirements will result in automatic claim rejection.


 

6. Verification & Inspection Rights

  • All claims are subject to review and verification
  • We may require the item to be returned before approving a resolution
  • If inspection finds no defect, the claim will be denied

ABOV Enterprises reserves full discretion in determining whether a product is defective, subject to applicable law.

 

 

7. Return Shipping Terms

  • For confirmed defective items: we may cover or reimburse reasonable return shipping
  • For rejected claims: customer is responsible for all shipping costs, including re-delivery


 

8. Refund Terms

  • Refunds are only issued where required by law or where no other remedy is viable
  • Refunds are processed to the original payment method only
  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable, unless required by law


 

9. Delivery & Risk

  • Risk in the product passes to the customer upon delivery
  • Claims for damage in transit must include unboxing evidence where possible


 

10. Chargebacks & Disputes

Before initiating a chargeback, customers must contact us to resolve the issue.

We reserve the right to:

  • Submit evidence including delivery confirmation, product compliance, and policy acceptance
  • Contest all invalid or fraudulent disputes

Failure to follow this process may delay or negatively impact the outcome of a claim.

 

 

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • ABOV Enterprises is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Total liability is limited to the amount paid for the product
